Safe transport for people with disability
At Mobility and Accessibility for Children and Adults Ltd. (MACA) we're driving change to advance the rights of children and adults with disabilities and medical conditions to safe transport.

Safety testing
MACA’s Australian Safety Assessment Program (AuSAP) independently assesses the safety and performance of specialty vehicle restraint systems used by people with disabilities and medical conditions.
As the leading global assessment program, AuSAP ensures the safety of products and provides trusted information for families, prescribers, regulators and government funders.

With you on every journey
Our work gives families, carers and people with disability the information and support they need to travel safely and comfortably on our roads.
This website provides trustworthy information and resources, developed over many years through collaboration and research. The lived experience of families is at the heart of our work, and as you explore our website you will meet some of these families.

Access trustworthy information and resources
We rapidly translate our research into information, resources and training to help health professionals in their important role supporting people with disability and families with their children's vehicle transport needs. Resources include a national product register, policies, information about road laws and standards, and FAQs for parents and allied health professionals.

For many OTs, it’s hard to find and keep up with car seating information. I’m reassured by the fact that I will be able to use the MACA website and training to assist families.
