Workplace Road Safety Leadership
Online course for organisations whose staff undertake work-related travel
Course aims
Hundreds of thousands of Australians use a vehicle for work every day, but tragically, travelling on our roads is by far the most significant contributor to work-related injury and death in our country.
Workplace Road Safety Leadership aims to raise awareness of road safety as an important work health and safety (WHS) issue and to give workplaces the essential knowledge, information, and tools to help prevent workplace deaths and injuries on our roads.
Who is this course for?
The course is designed for organisations in the care sector whose staff undertake work-related travel and who may also be accountable or responsible for the transport of children with disability on our roads. For example, allied health organisations, disability product suppliers and schools.
About the course
Delivered on the FutureLearn online platform, participants progress through the course at their own pace, and have ongoing access to course content after completion. The course is approximately six hours and features videos from the CEO of WorkSafe Victoria, Joe Calafiore.
